Patch Up: Revolutionizing Vitamin Intake with Transdermal Innovation

Patch Up, founded in 2024 by Radhika Rajpal in Gurugram, India, is redefining the way individuals consume vitamins through its innovative transdermal patches. These patches deliver essential nutrients directly through the skin, offering a convenient and additive-free alternative to traditional supplements.

Radhika Rajpal, an ex-INSEAD graduate, was inspired to create Patch Up after returning to India from Europe and discovering the lack of clean, additive-free supplements in the local market. Her vision was to develop a non-invasive, efficient method of nutrient delivery that eliminates the need for pills or injections.

Patch Up's transdermal patches are designed to be worn on the skin for up to eight hours, allowing vitamins to seep directly into the bloodstream. This method bypasses the digestive system, ensuring better absorption and efficacy. The patches are free from harmful additives, aligning with the company's commitment to clean and safe health solutions.

The company's unique approach gained national attention when Radhika appeared on Shark Tank India Season 4, seeking ₹50 lakh for a 1.75% equity stake. Her pitch highlighted the benefits of transdermal vitamin delivery and the importance of additive-free supplements. While Namita Thapar and Aman Gupta expressed concerns over lack of clinical trials, Ritesh Agarwal, Peyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal saw tremendous potential in Patch Up’s innovative offering. Anupam Mittal demonstrated the strongest support for Radhika’s vision and the deal was locked at ₹50 lakh for 2.27% equity, valuing the company at ₹22 crore.

Looking ahead, Patch Up aims to expand its product line and reach a broader audience seeking convenient and clean health solutions. The company plans to invest in research and development to enhance the efficacy of its patches and explore new formulations to address various health needs.

By combining scientific innovation with a commitment to wellness, Patch Up is poised to make a significant impact on the health and wellness industry, offering consumers a modern alternative to traditional vitamin intake.
